In episode #279, our guest Linda will share her story.
Linda currently resides in the Bay Area, California. She was born and raised in North Carolina. Her undergraduate studies took her to Maryland where she met her spouse who was her research mentor at Johns Hopkins University. It was in graduate school at Stanford University when they actually dated. Marriage came five years later, and the decision to expand their family came about another five years later. Having PCOS, Linda knew it might be challenging and turned to her doctors for help. They asked questions about symptoms and did blood work but never asked about lifestyle or other stressors. After a chemical miscarriage on letrozole, Linda believed there had to be a more holistic approach before attempting IUI and IVF. That's when she found Dr. Kela Smith's Hormone PUZZLE. After running through the program twice, Linda now has a beautiful month-old baby girl, Luna. Linda encourages those struggling with infertility to listen to their body and to remember to breathe.
